How did the business start?

My business was born from my desire to truly be free from the American rat race. I wanted more freedom of time to be with my family as well as to find a safe risk free, and tax free way to build wealth outside of the conventional ways that are taught. The idea and desire started about fifteen years ago. I kept going in and out of the financial world because I just didn’t find what aligned with me nor the right people with the knowledge I was seeking. Until about six months ago, things started to happen when the right knowledge, opportunity, and person came into my life and laid out exactly what I had been looking for. From there, I saw how I could be of help and service to others that wanted the same thing. And my company was born.


What are the challenges you met and how did you manage to cope up with these challenges and reach your current status?

My main challenge is dealing with people that are unconsciously ignorant of how money works and how to make it work for them that will allow them to have time, financial freedom and retirement.

The way I deal with and overcome people like this is through compassion, caring and helping them to develop a financial mindset through education.


Who influenced you in this industry and how did he/she influence you?

I will have to say my mom did. She taught save and invest. That was when 401ks and company matching 401ks were still good, and the thing to do if you didn’t have money to play in the stock market.


How did you manage to market your business and compete with other agencies in your niche?

I use social media, word of mouth, networking events, website, and business cards. But the most important and effective way I market my business is through real and caring relationships where my customers see that I really do care, want to help them, and see them succeed.


What Best Practice/s can you share to our startup readers?

I have found through my experiences with any business is to practice honesty, be a person of your word, do what you say you are going to do, treat people with respect and make it a product or service that will change & add value to people’s lives.
