If the starting point to commence the trip from Haridwar, it takes 10 days to complete the yatra, and if you are planning to commence the trip from Delhi, it takes 11 days to complete the trip.

Yamunotri Temple is the temple which is dedicated to Yamuna Ma or Goddess Yamuna. Indeed, the first of the Char Dham which is visited if you travel your plan from the Haridwar. From Haridwar to Yamunotri, it has two routes again. One from via Dehradun and other via Rishikesh. Dehradun is one of the preferred routes as it gives an easy and non-interruption journey. Badrinath Temple is considered the last and destination of the Char Dham yatra. Here the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple is situated in the incredible Nanda Devi Peak. To reach Badrinath temple, it takes an 8-hour journey from the Gauri Kund. It is advisable to reach the place Joshimath, which is a journey of 6 to 7 hours or a 171-kilometer drive from the Gauri Kund.
